Shocking pictures show destructive aftermath of car that ploughed into front of house

Dramatic photos have shown the moments after a BMW crashed through the wall of a house, leaving bricks and debris strewn across the garden.

Cambridgeshire Police were called to the scene on Fisher Close in Ramsey St Mary’s, Cambridgeshire, at 5.30pm on October 7, after the BMW 3 Series car ploughed into the property.

The striking images show the silver BMW 3 Series estate lodged in the house's brickwork, having smashed through a fence before leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Bricks and rubble are scattered across the garden, underlining the sheer force of the impact.

Miraculously, no one was injured in the incident.

A 28-year-old man from Ramsey has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, and possession of cannabis.

Police are now appealing for witnesses, as well as any CCTV, dashcam, or video doorbell footage recorded before the collision.

Witnesses have been asked to get in touch via the force website using reference 35/73373/24.

Anyone without internet access should call 101.
