Two women killed in Milton Keynes on Christmas Day have been named as Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24.
Officers were called to a block of flats in Santa Cruz Avenue, Bletchley, in Milton Keynes, at around 6.36 on December 25.
The two women died at the scene, while a teenage boy and a man, who were injured in a suspected stabbing, were rushed to hospital.
Initial reports added that a dog injured in the incident had also died, but police later said the animal had survived.
Police have since charged a 49-year-old man with two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count each of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
