Donald Trump branded 'Russian asset' as furious protesters gather outside US embassy

Dozens of people gathered outside the US embassy in Nine Elms, London, on Wednesday evening to protest Washington's decision to cosy up to Russia. Many of the pro-Ukraine protesters carried Ukrainian flags and placards showing their solidarity to the government in Kyiv, Ukrainians and Volodymyr Zelensky.
The protesters were heard chanting “Russian troops out” and “Russia is a terrorist state”. One of the banners being held up by the protesters read "Trump is a Russian asset", while others read "Stop Trump" and “occupation is not peace. Justice for Ukraine”. The protest was organised by the Ukraine Solidarity Campaign, Ukrainian organisations and John McDonnell MP.
